Whale Shark

Whale sharks are the world's largest fish at up to 12m long. They are docile plankton eaters, cruising tropical waters looking for food.

They are regularly observed on our liveaboard trips at both Richelieu Rock and Koh Tachai Pinnacle.

Manta Ray

Manta rays are a giant pelagic species favoured by divers for their graceful displays.

They are often seen at a variety of sites visited by our liveaboards but most frequently at Koh Bon and Koh Tachai Pinnacle.

Leopard Shark

Leopard Sharks are shy creatures, dwelling on the bottom near to reefs. They are more active at night when their main food source, molluscs, is more available

They are most reliably found close to Tachai pinnacle.

Hawksbill Turtle

A critically endangered species suffering from habitat loss and over fishing.

Thankfully they can still be seen when scuba diving and snorkelling in Similan Islands & Surin Islands.
