About UsOften rental equipment is the cheapest available. Not at Blue Guru. We have noticed over years diving in Asia that the rental equipment is frequently substandard and this can be frustrating for any diver. It makes a huge difference to have better quality, more expensive equipment and we are proud to bring you a superior line of rental equipment.
The equipment that you use can make or break a dive. Regular divers invest in their own equipment because they know that it will make for better, safer diving. Blue Guru feels the same way. Our high quality equipment is regularly serviced and replaced to ensure that you have the best underwater experience possible.
Blue Guru are fanatical about your safety. All members of staff are fully trained in the implementation of our emergency procedures so that if any problems arise they instinctively know how to act. They also have extensive experience diving in this region which means they are able to prevent accidents from occuring in the first place. In the unlikely event of an emergency we are able to evacuate using high powered speedboats at short notice.
Blue Guru use a fast dive cruiser for trips to the Surin Islands & Richelieu Rock. The boat is solely for the use of Blue Guru diving with no other companies filling up places with their staff and customers. We have a very favourable staff to customer ratio in the water with never more than 4 divers per instructor.
Blue Guru provide high quality diving insurance through our partners in the UK, indepths.org. This is fully underwritten by Lloyds of London. We insist that you either have your own scuba diving insurance or take out a policy with us. The indepth policies start at a very reasonable 200 Baht for 1 day diving cover. All Blue Guru Diving Instructors and Divemasters hold professional liability insurance.
