Where is Koh Phra Thong?

Koh Phra Thong is located in the Andaman Sea off the west coast of southern Thailand. The middle link in a chain of 3 islands, it is close to the port town of Khuraburi, situated on the mainland about 10km east. Koh Phra Thong is about 550km south of Bangkok and 100km north of Phuket.

Marine Life at Koh Phra Thong

The channel between the two Koh Pling islands has a variety of hard corals and anemones. There are also scattered boulders with crevices where critters hide out.
