Winnie - Your own exclusive Thailand liveaboard adventure
New for 2009-2010 season! Blue Guru Diving present the Winnie Eco-Liveaboard option! The Blue Guru dive boat, Winnie can now accept guests on overnight trips.
Winnie is unlike any liveaboard boat in Thailand - she sleeps only two people!! This means budget travellers can have their own private Thailand liveaboard and at unbelievable price.
If you have never dived before then you and your partner can take the Open Water Course aboard Winnie. During your stay wou will receive expert instruction from an experienced PADI Dive Instructor, indulge in 3 meals and snacks a day and sleep under the stars. Winnie is also equipped with toilet/shower and kitchen facilities available for your private use during your stay. Winnie - Eco Liveaboard Thailand
This unique Thailand liveaboard option is unlike any other liveaboard boat in the country. Winnie is only 15m long by 4.5m. She used to be a fishing boat in the Andaman Sea. During the 2008-2009 season she was lovingly converted by Thai craftsmen and Blue Guru staff into a beautiful dive boat.
She is now equipped with a fully functional kitchen, shower & western toilet facilities. She also houses our primary compressor, emergency oxygen & medical supplies.
For 2009-2010 she has also been kitted out with basic sleeping arrangements so that guest to Koh Phra Thong can sleep under the stars.

The Phra Thong Island homestay program is a great way for vistiors to the Andaman coast to gain a cultural insight into rural Thailand, try tasty Thai food and experience the warm hospitality of these remarkable people.
Baan Lions has more than 100 simple but modern homes which house the villagers. They have an open style which suits the importance of community to the Thai people. They all have bathrooms with running water and a shower. Power comes from private or community generators. This is normally available for a few hours from dusk until 10pm.

Mr. Chuoi's Thailand Beach Huts
Mr Chuoi has 6 well spaced bamboo huts on a large plot on the west coast of Koh Phra Thong towards the northern end of Golden Buddha Bay.
These traditional beach huts offer visitors to Thailand the opportunity to stay in accommodation directly on a long stretch of spectacular beach with out the associated price tag.
Each hut benefits from uninterrupted views of the sea and Koh Pling. The clear warm water in Golden Buddha Bay is sheltered from the open sea and offers good swimming, snorkelling and diving opportunities. The white sandy beach stretches for 15km.
