Thailand

On our 4 night / 4 day Thai trip, we enjoy 14 dives in Similans, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai & the world famous Richelieu Rock, renowned for whale shark visits.

Manta rays are more commonly seen there and at Koh Bon. Shark & ray sightings are possible at Tachai too. Green & hawksbill turtles are seen in Similans’ coral reef sites.

Sadly whale sharks, manta rays & turtles & are all under considerable threat. As divers we can help protect endangered species by developing knowledge & skills to support conservation efforts.

Our Thai liveaboard eco-education programs therefore focus on:
- Shark Conservation & Turtle Awareness(Nov-Jan)
- Whale Shark & Manta Ray Awareness (Feb-Apr)
The liveaboard departs from Khao Lak, 1 hour north of Phuket airport. Return transfers between Phuket & Khao Lak on the start & end dates are included.

Burma

On our 4 night/5 day Burmese trips we enjoy 16 dives in the Mergui Archipelago and on our 5 night/6 day Burmese trips we enjoy 20 dives in the Mergui Archipelago and the remote Burma Banks.

Off the beaten track, these dive sites are scarcely visited & waiting to be explored after being closed for 50 years. Manta rays & whale sharks may be spotted here. Another appeal of diving the Burma Banks & Mergui is that you can observe exciting species such as oceanic whitetip sharks and grey reef sharks. These are animals which are rarely seen in the Similans.

Our Burmese liveaboard eco-education programs therefore focus on:
- Shark Conservation & Coral Reef Conservation (Nov-Jan)
- Whale Shark & Manta Ray Awareness (Feb-Apr)

The liveaboard departs from Ranong (Thailand), which is on the bus route between Bangkok & Phuket.
